Why Use a Grab Sampling System?
Grab sampling can validate:

It can also provide verification of environmental emissions. In all of these uses, capturing a representative sample is essential. However, placing a captured sample into an open bottle for transport back to the lab may not provide a representative sample. Some chemicals will evaporate or fractionate if not maintained under pressure. As more industries bring additional analytical equipment online, it becomes more imperative to have quality sample systems that can accurately capture the process for later analysis.
Swagelok builds and supplies components for two types of grab sample panels.
Options include;
- Cylinder Samplers: Cylinder grab sampling systems are for use with gas, liquid and two-phase processes.
- Bottle Type: Bottle grab sampling systems are for use with low vapour-pressure liquids. These systems use a septa lidded bottle of specified volume to collect a sample safely for lab analysis.
