How do I Communicate in HubSpot

With HubSpot you are able to communicate with Customer Contacts as well as internal stakeholders in a number of ways. Notes, Emails, Phone Calls and Tasks are the primary methods of communication - all in one place.

With HubSpot it is easy to ensure that all internal departments have access to information and know where a customer is at with us at any given time.

You can communicate with a Contact or Contacts, as well as internal Users from any record type - be it a Contact, Company, Deal or Ticket record. This has the benefit of ensuring that all activity with a company is captured in the appropriate area and accessible to all key stakeholders from all internal departments.

One key watchout when communicating through HubSpot is the ensure you associate the communication with the relevant records only. For example, if you are in a Deal and you want and email to be recorded in that Deal only and not against other Deal or Ticket records that a Contact may be associated with, check to ensure that the Deal you are in is the only one ticked. We will cover this in more detail within this module.
