Orbital welding can provide assemblies with the highest leak tight integrity in a lightweight and compact package. Autogenus orbital welding allows for clean and consistent quality welds which is especially critical in high-purity applications. Orbital welding can overcome challenges in designing compact tube routing where space constraint dies do not allow for standard tube fittings.

Request a Demonstration

We can bring the orbital welder to you, we can demonstrate a machine at your workplace -  fill out the form by clicking the green tab above and we will arrange a visit - there is no cost for this service.

M200 Swagelok Welding System Overview

The M200 Welding System offers excellent field versatility...

  • Extensions for welding in place; pendant for remote welder operation
  • Choose between 110V and 220V operation
  • Easy quick field set-up - connections keyed for proper installation
  • Repeatable, accurate operation - high volume weld capacity
  • Integrated mass flow controller and external mass flow controllers and external pressure sensors automatically control ID purge gas for smooth uniform welds
  • Real-time monitoring and recording capabilities
  • In our fabrications department, most of the welding are carried out in a clean room setting in a tightly controlled environment.
  • Autogenous Orbital Welding adds no material so this makes it especially suitable for clean manufacturing.

Orbital welding produces the highest leak tight integrity for tube connections that have excellent safety benefits. For consistent efficient welding the Swagelok orbital welding system offers precision and control combined with easy to use touch screen operation.

Delivering high-quality autogenous Gas Tungsten Arc Welds (GTAW)  for both tubing and pipe. The system combines a portable power supply with an integrated weld head and gas flow controller in a self-contained package. A selection of weld head sizes and many accessories are available. Automated electronic data collection ensures that searchable QA data is available to welders and inspectors for in-process inspections and traceability.

Welding for High Purity Environments

In high purity applications, it is critical to keep impurities away from the welding and assembly process. Contamination can have a detrimental effect on both the fluids that travel through the assembly and the surface finish of the tubing. Contamination can take many forms, discolouration, inclusions and airborne particulates are just some of these.

Jigs and Fixtures for Easy Alignment

Complete your Swagelok orbital welding system with fixture blocks, side plates, adapter inserts, and collets. View all accessories available here.

Programmable Pre-sets

The easy-to-use graphic interface, including the Auto Create feature, provides rapid weld procedure creation and execution. Weld-procedures are easily adjusted. One-touch adjustments can be made to alter the average current value for individual levels. Additionally, values for specific settings can be entered manually. The need to scroll through multiple screen displays is minimised, as all parameter information is just one touch away.
