Swagelok Central UK – our first year of enhanced service and support

The merger of Swagelok Bristol and Manchester on 9 April 2024 gave us the opportunity to build on our strengths and address areas for growth. With insights from both employees and customers, Swagelok Central UK now delivers an expanded range of services, supported by an increased team of dedicated customer services representatives focused on enhancing every customer experience.

The last 12 months have seen:
• 37 new hires
• Over 1,000,000 pieces picked, packed and shipped
• An up-scaled and up-skilled Procurement Team
• £1.8m investment in fixed assets
• 701 Customers trained in our expanded training facilities
• Swagelok’s EMEA Welding Service Centre established
• Creation of a CNC tube cutting and bending cell, with non-contact inspection capability
• ISO 9001 awarded across the merged business
• £5m of Swagelok inventory available for immediate dispatch

As a benefit of the merger, we’ve created two focussed centres of excellence to drive efficiency and scalability across our firm:
• Warrington for Distribution
• Bristol for Fabrication

Thanks to our continuous improvement, we have been re-certified for the supply of First Level components into the Royal Navy’s nuclear submarines, and begun deliveries for the UK’s new nuclear power station construction projects. Our presence in the Hydrogen Energy and Semiconductor fabrication sectors has grown substantially. We've even seen one of our fluid system prototypes preparing to be sent to space!
