Find me on:

Swagelok Bristol has a history of providing quality training for our customers. The training requirement has evolved over the years and we find ourselves currently offering a wide variety of support across the many aspects of a fluid system.

'Encouraging businesses to invest in staff training has been the almost-urgent concern of all recent governments.'  states the Raconteur in it's post-Brexit report on skills gaps and investment.

Providing excellent training is great for companies and their employees. Many people and especially engineers seek to learn, to understand different ways of overcoming problems and to do so in a safe and effective manner. Many of our industries are safety-critical dealing with dangerous chemicals, huge pressures and incessant demand. We have some incredible experience and expertise here in the UK and we intend as a high quality product supplier of fluid systems to continue to support our customers in 'best-practice' training for their employees.

Who we provide training for

We provide training for many different reasons at Swagelok Bristol, depending on individuals' levels of expertise and the requirements each company/industry has. Below are some of the most regularly booked training courses:

  • Re-certification to ensure safe working practices is often required every 3 years by some of the industries we supply, this is most often required with the Tube Bending Course.
  • We support our customers' apprenticeship schemes. We have great feedback from apprentices as our training offers them real value in their chosen field and equips them with 'best practice' knowledge and expertise in fluid systems.
  • Orbital Welders can become codified with the Swagelok M200 Orbital Welding and ASME IX Certification course.
  • Supporting longstanding engineers with further knowledge and best-practice we offer courses such as the Steam Systems Course. With on-site and classroom instruction, engineers will learn how to obtain optimum performance from your steam trap system.
